On June 25, 1991, J & L Mavilia, Inc. (J&L) was incorporated in the State of Maryland. It is a woman-owned 8(a) certified, Steamfitter's Union local 602, Mechanical Contracting company.
J&L is located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, approximately 10 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. and within easy access of local government agencies and most regional agencies within the metropolitan area. The geographic area covered by J&L includes Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. - All of our construction and service employees are members of the Steamfitter’s Union Local 602 , are U.S. citizens, have Journeyman licenses, and have attended a 5-year Apprenticeship Program.
